Statement
of Qualifications
Richard E. Gash Electric
Company, Inc. (dba Gash Electric Company) is a full – service Electrical and
Mechanical Contractor firm (Gash Mechanical, LLC) serving Colorado and other
locations throughout the United States.
Richard
E. Gash established Gash Electric Company in May of 1966. During the earlier years Gash Electric
specialized in the electrical installations in residential homes, condominiums,
commercial tenant finish and telephone communication wiring.
In
1990 Gash Electric Company moved into larger commercial projects and the
Nuclear Plant Site arena, performing electrical and mechanical work as well as
all other phases of construction including decommissioning and demolition
activities at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site in Golden,
Colorado.
Safety is Number One
Safety is our highest
priority.
Gash Electric Co. is committed
to conducting our operations in a way that protects people, property,
communities and the environment. Safety is viewed as a critical element of
successful project performance. Gash Electric Co. believes that all injuries and occupational illnesses can be
prevented. In fact, Gash Electric Co. has one of the best safety records in the
industry, with an experience modification rate for the past three years of .84,
.80, and .76. This outstanding performance record is a direct result of our
well-trained staff, up-to-date programs and procedures, and corporate
commitment to our health and safety programs
Gash
Electric Company operates under the following philosophy:
We
want our employee’s to return to their families in the same condition as they
reported to work.
Customer Service
Customers
rely on Gash Electric to be timely, professional and courteous, as well as
highly skilled in our endeavors to meet their electrical needs.
So
whether it’s a one-time “help, I have a problem” call or an on-going scheduled
facility maintenance, our service electricians not only respond with the most
advanced technical ability, but with the very old-fashioned notions of customer
service as well.
Gash
Electric offers the client a balanced “pool” of project managers, supervisors,
and foreman who have experience in the work tasks that they manage. These
managers provide support for skilled workers who represent Gash Electric to the
client on a day-to-day basis, and allow Gash Electric Co. to provide quality
products and services on time, and on budget, while insuring a good working
relationship with our union affiliates and clients.
Quality, experience, safety
and professionalism have long provided the foundation upon which Gash Electric
continues to build its reputation and its relationships with clients. In today’s competitive construction market,
where sometimes the lowest price gets the job, Gash Electric stand firm in the
commitment to never lower our prices by lowering our quality.
In
order to achieve the highest standards, Gash Electric goes above and beyond to
insure quality assurance in our work. All members of Gash Electric are highly
qualified
and
experienced in the construction and the service process. As members of the
Electrical Construction Industry, we abide by industry codes and guarantee that
our client’s interests are paramount. Gash Electric’s high standards to our
clients are one of our trademarks. Our
aim is to help solve problems by actionable recommendations through quality
assurance and documentation.
To support our objectives,
Gash Electric is organized into six departments:
Gash Electric’s objective
is a proactive program implementation that will reduce all safety-related
losses to an absolute minimum surpassing the best experience of operation
similar to ours. Our goal is zero accidents and injuries by managing prevention
efforts instead of accidents. The safety
department brings together a team of highly experienced safety workers under
the supervision/direction of Gash Electric Company’s Health and Safety Manager,
Yong McGuire, CSP, WSO-CSM.
